2 weeks from this Wednesday will be the happiest day of my life! School will be back in session!!! I cannot hide my excitement any longer. We need to get back on a routine.... a schedule. The late nights and sleeping half the day away will soon end for the children.... and for me as well!
This summer was pretty low key. Frank had 3 weeks off in July. That rarely happens. He finally got the front porch stained and it looks great! He picked the 2 hottest days of his vacation to do it. Both days of the project the heat index was over 100! I was sweating just sitting and watching him do all the hard work.
Devynn has finally come out of retirement. He got a job 2 weeks ago. And this job came just in time. He will be in the co op program at school this year and was running out of time to find a job. He seems to like it so far. In a couple short weeks he will be a senior. Hard to believe!
